People-Pleasers: Part One

Craig Groeschel

Becoming obsessed with what people think about you is the quickest way to forget what God thinks about you.

We've all been there; we've all done it, sought after the affirmation of the people around us instead of the God who created us. As Jesus-people we know where our identity is found, in Who it is found, and where to look; and yet how often do we open our eyes to discover we have been making the opinions of people too large, and the opinion of God too small?

You obsess about what others think.
You become overly sensitive to criticism.
You avoid conflict.
You have a hard time saying no.

Which of these struggles is the hardest for you in your daily life?
