Have you ever been on a ropes course before? You know how, at the end, there is always some little platform you have to jump off of, and then you go swinging through the trees for a while before you reach the ground? Those few seconds—or minutes, depending on how adventurous you are, sitting up on that tiny platform, so many feet in the air, trying to convince yourself to just slide off—are absolutely terrifying. But then you reach inside yourself and somehow come up with enough courage to let go, and once you do, you are flying through the air, and it is exhilarating and beautiful, and you have absolutely no control over what is happening, but at the same time you have never felt quite so free. That is what Catalyst was for me.
